Amazon batted first and posted a decent total of 166/7 in 20 overs. Opening the innings, Duke Kaveri(8) and Sandeep(5) fell early as they had a nervy start, being down to 24/2. However, Skipper Shaik Liaquddin and Pruthvi fought back to get the innings on track. Liaquddin scored 36 off 20 balls that had 4 fours and 2 sixes. On the other hand, Pruthvi scored a responsible half-century. His 57 off 41 balls comprised of 5 fours and two sixes as well. Navin Parry then played a little cameo towards the end (23 off 14) that had couple of sixes and a four to finish off the innings on a good note.
Dell EMC did not get off to the desired start. They lost openers Rakesk KL (4) and Dheeraj Nayyar (1) in quick succession. As a result, they had a shaky start being reduced to 7/2. However, Arvind scored a brilliant 39-ball 65 that gave Dell EMC some hopes. His knock had 3 fours and 6 sixes. Rohith(28) and Vishal(21) also made notable contributions.
The Amazon bowlers, however, picked up timely wickets. Rahul, Chethan and Ishaan picked couple of wickets each as Dell EMC eventually fell 18 runs short of the target.
