Team News:

It feels strange to write but the Gunners have a fully fit squad now that Riess Nelson is back as well.

Vitoria will be without first choice goal keeper, Jhonatan who is out till March due to a broken arm. Midfielders Yakubu, Wakaso and Andre are possibly out of the game as well.

Opta Stats:

Arsenal are looking to win their first four group stage games in a Europa League or Champions League campaign for just the second time, winning their first five in the 2005-06 Champions League.

Vitoria De Guimaraes are looking to avoid four consecutive defeats in all European competition for the first time since September 1998.

Gabriel Martinelli has scored in both of his Europa League matches for Arsenal this season. The only player to score in each of his first three games in major European competition for the Gunners was Marouane Chamakh in 2010.

What to expect:

Mesut Ozil, Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Granit Xhaka didn’t make it to the travelling squad for the trip to Portugal. Unai Emery confirmed last night that Granit Xhaka is no longer Arsenal’s Captain and Aubameyang is set to become the Captain.
The reverse fixture between both the sides was a memorable contest at the Emirates, as Arsenal came from behind to win 3-2 win, thanks to two fantastic Nicolas Pepe free-kicks. Vitoria came with a game plan and Unai Emery was once again quite clueless about his tactics and formation and had to thank his record signing from saving him his job!

It will be a high intensity game for sure with Vitoria fans playing as 12th man. Hoping for a really ‘Good Ebbenin’.

Possible line-ups:

Arsenal – Martinez; Hector, Mustafi, Holding, Kolasinac; Willock, Ceballos, Torriera; Pepe, Martinelli, Nelson;

Formation: 4-3-3

Vitoria – Miguel Silva; Hanin, Tapsoba, Venancio, Victor Garcia; Poha, Mikel Agu, Almeida; Davidson, Duarte, Marcus Edwards;

Formation: 4-3-3
