The international break is finally over and the Premier League action finally resumes from Saturday. Most fantasy premier league managers would have already set their teams for Gameweek 13. For those smart and clever ones who haven’t used their free transfers yet, this post is for you! Additionally, to the risk takers who can afford few negative points by going the extra mile and making an extra transfer, read on!
FPL managers have had two weeks to come up with a masterpiece for Gameweek 13, after what was a pretty decent Gameweek 12 – the average score being 48.
Below we have provided few budget options (3 Defenders, 3 Midfielders and 2 Forwards) who have slowly become must have for every FPL manager.
Brendan Rodgers Leicester City continue to impress. The foxes currently sit on 2nd position and their next 5 games have a FDR of 2. We suggest to rope in Soyuncu (4.9) as Leicester travel to Brighton. Ben Chilwell (5.7) was heavily involved for England he played full 90 minutes in both the games. The Englishman grabbed a Hat-trick of assists against Montenegro as England secure their place in Euro 2020.
John Lundstram (4.9) has already established himself as find of the season. Deployed in an advanced midfield position he had 4 Goal attempts in Gameweek 12 alone, with 3 from inside the box. He’s up against a Manchester United side that have failed to keep a clean sheet in any of their 6 away games so far, conceding 7 goals.
Leicester City assets again continue to dominate and rightfully so. James Maddison ranks only behind Willian (14) amongst midfielders, with a tally of 13 attempted assists in the last 4 Game weeks.
Captain America has finally found his feet in the Premier League. However, he is still out injured due to a hip injury. If fit, Pulisic (7.4) offers a great value as Chelsea take on Manchester City at the Etihad.
Wolverhampton Wanderers, who after a slow start in which they picked up just three points from the first five games, have now gone seven without defeat in the league. The bulk of the praise goes to two players. One, Raul Jimenez (7.3 )and the other Adama Traore (5.2). Traore’s form has been inconsistent but he is worth to take a gamble on as wolves face Bournemouth in Gameweek 13.
Jamie Vardy (9.6) has netted in each of the last 4 Game weeks, producing 6 goals and 2 assists. Additionally, No forward has fired more than his 9 shots on target. Brighton look set to be without both of their first-choice centre-backs. The stage looks set for Vardy yet again, to extend his lead in the goalscoring charts. Vardy gets the captaincy armband as well!
Raul Jimenez (7.3) has produced 5 attacking returns during the last 5 games as Wolves continue to show their last season form.
