It’s Arsenal Vs Southampton in the Premier League at the Emirates on Saturday. Anything other than three points will be seen as inexcusable for the Gunners, against Ralph Hasenhuttl’s struggling Saints.
Unai Emery men have been far from convincing at the Emirates this season. The Saints game could see a meltdown among the Gunner fandom if the result goes awry.

Arsenal Vs Southampton Team News:
Unai Emery has confirmed Ceballos, Kolasinac, Saka and Holding missed training due to ‘small’ injuries. How small it is remains to be seen. Additionally, Nicolas Pepe arrived late from international duty, so he might also miss out from the starting line-up. However, Granit Xhaka might make a comeback to the squad.
Ralf Hasenhuttl has confirmed Southampton have a 100% fit squad to choose from ahead of the game.
Arsenal – Leno; Bellerin, Sokratis, Luiz, Tierney; Torriera, Guendouzi; Pepe, Ozil, Martinelli; Aubameyang;
Southampton – McCarthy; Bednarek, Stephens, Vestergaard; Armstrong, Bertrand, Oriol Romeu, Ward Prouse, Cedric; Redmond, Ings;
Arsenal are winless in their last four Premier League games (D2 L2). They’ve not gone longer without a win in the competition since a run of six between May-August 2011, while they last had a longer run in a single season back in February 2009 (5 games, which were all draws during a 21-game unbeaten run).
Southampton have lost six of their last seven Premier League games (D1), conceding 23 goals while netting just six in return in this run. However, seven of their eight points earned in the Premier League this season have come in away games (88%).
Arsenal have lost more Premier League games in November than they have in any other month in the competition (34). Indeed, November is the month in which the Gunners have their lowest win rate (44%), points-per-game (1.6), goals-per-game (1.5) and highest goals conceded-per-game (1.2) ratios in the competition
Arsenal Vs Southampton What to expect?
The Gunners sit on 6th place ahead of Gameweek 13 and currently have a negative goal difference. Nicolas Pepe has struggled for form and confidence and Granit Xhaka is surrounded with lots of controversy.
Southampton on the other hand have started very poorly and are on 19th position. The saints have taken only 2 wins out of 12 games so far and the possibility of a 3rd looks bleak at the Emirates.
That being said, they won’t be afraid to put bodies on the line and expose the Arsenal Defence. Arsenal on other hand are desperate for a win to break their November hoodoo to give the supporters atleast some glimmer of hope.
Arsenal 3-1 Southampton
Will it be a ‘Good Ebennig’ for the Gunners‘ or will it be another dismal outing?
