Dell Technologies posted a respectable total of 146/6 in 20 overs. They lost opener Sandeep(13) early and we’re down to 22/1. Atif (24) and Madhu (29) then put together a 48-run stand to take the score to 70/2 before the partnership was eventually broken. The RMS Technologies bowlers then came back to pick two quick wickets that left Dell Technologies at 102/4. However, it was Girish KL’s magnificent unbeaten fifty (53*) that took Dell Tech to a fighting total. His fifty came off just 38 balls and included 5 fours and 3 sixes.
Vinod put up a brilliant display with the ball for RMS Technologies as he finished with 4/26 ( 4 overs).
Openers Manju (50) and Thilak (20) got RMS off to a decent start with a 56- run stand. They seemed to be on course in the run-chase. However, the Dell Technologies bowlers kept it tight as well. They pulled it back as the game went right down the wire. RMS Tech needed 17 off the last over to win the match. They could only manage to score 16 runs as the match went into the super over. Girish KL was outstanding with the ball as well for Dell Technologies as he picked up 3 wickets for 28 runs.
In the super over, RMS Technologies scored 14 runs. Pradeep played a quick-fire 5 ball 13*. Dell Technologies ended up scoring only 8 runs losing a wicket as RMS Technologies won the game by 6 runs.
