However, Daniel James has confirmed that he would probably ‘edge it’ while speaking to Sky Sports. James also revealed that Rashford and himself should have a race to settle the long-standing debate.
22-year-old Marcus Rashford believes that the former Swansea winger Daniel is the quicker among the two and while speaking to the United Review, the English forward said that ‘there is no way’ he would race against the Welshman. Despite the competition between the pair, another prodigy Mason Greenwood clocked a sprint at 37.60 km/h during United’s draw against Everton which is the top speed recorded by the club’s official website. The teenager is then closely followed by Brazilian star Fred, who recorded 37.29 km/h. But Daniel James has recorded the top-speed while playing in 12 of Manchester United’s 29 games this campaign while Marcus Rashford is second on that list with nine instances before suffering a serious lower back problem that ruled him out for the majority of the season.
